Catholics for good liturgy is a blog for, primarily, lay people who want to grow in their spiritual life based on the church's liturgy.
In the UK, in particular, there are many saddening cases of such poor liturgy that a blog that discusses what we, as lay people, can do about it. A spirit of humility and encouragement is what this blog is about.
Some issues currently hot topics within my own circle:
Edinburgh Cathedral sharing the entrance (porch) with a bistro bar.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion distributing with no necessity.
Readers who read with no preparation.
Poor quality regarding catechesis.
Children's "liturgy."
Treating church's as community centers.
Lack of missionary priests serving in our parishes.
None of which supports spirituality, parish life, evangelisation or social action.
